Loop Track Upgrade Project – Begins September 2008

From September through the end of 2008, construction 
will be underway to upgrade approximately 10,000 feet 
of Loop elevated track on Lake Street and Wabash Avenue. 

When the project is completed at the end of the year, 
customers will experience more reliable and efficient 
rail service.

During construction, Green, Pink, Orange and Brown Line 
trains may be rerouted during the following times:

Weekends (except holidays and major events), 10 p.m., 
Friday to 4 a m , Monday: All trains rerouted via Wells
and Van Buren.

Weeknights, 10 p m to 4 a m the following morning: One 
track closed on Lake and Wabash, affected trains rerouted.
